Today Consilium hosted the “Realising the Benefits of Mobile Working” seminar for Local Authorities at the HMS President in London. 30 representatives from 25 organisations attended the event to learn about how the benefits of Mobile Working can be successfully achieved.
Industry speakers included David Garnet from Serco, who discussed Serco’s Progressive Transformation proposition. Neil Saunders from Swindon Commercial Services gave an overview of how his team implemented Mobile Working and have achieved huge increases in productivity. Other mobile working case studies from the South England area were examined including; London Borough of Newham, Spectrum Property Care, London Borough of Enfield and Swindon Borough Council.
The event included a live demonstration of Consilium’s TotalMobile™ solution. Later in the day delegates were given the opportunity to try the software on a range of the latest mobile devices.
Consilium Business Manager, David Cockayne said “The turnout for this event was excellent. It confirms that most local authorities and other organisations now understand the potential of Mobile Working. What has become more important for these organisations is that their solution delivers on its promises and that their strategy achieves its goals. That was what today’s seminar was about, the realisation of the benefits.”
