NSHousing has elected to implement a mobile working solution from Consilium with an outlook to improving productivity within the organisation, while offering their customers a high level of service. The 5 year, £250,000 contract, will heavily contribute to NSHousing maintaining and improving its set targets, such as an increase in productivity and the completion of more jobs in one visit.
The solution was taken on by NSHousing in order to facilitate the transition of bringing their repairs department, which was previously contracted externally, back in house. The offering from Consilium was deemed to be ideal as it offered a comprehensive solution which could be tailored to fit NSHousing's specific requirements. Now, by making use of mobile working, they are driving for improvements in productivity, efficiency savings and customer service.
The steps are now being put in place to roll the solution out across 72 mobile users within the housing repairs department, with the desire to expand and use mobile working throughout the whole of the Housing Organisation. NSHousing has made the most of the flexible nature of Consilium's solutions and has taken applications from the TotalMobile, TotalRepairs and TotalView range of products in order to create the ideal solution for their workers. Users will be able to make use of such features as job management, electrical forms, instant transfer of relevant information and full stock management capabilities in order to assist them in providing a pro active service with effective communication.
NSHousing chose Consilium's solution from a list of 6 original suppliers. Mick Capern, Project Manager of North Somerset Housing stated, "We selected Consilium because they best met our requirements for an Enterprise Works Management Solution. They have a proven track record in delivering these systems and we believe that this is a long term commitment to enhancing our IT business system infrastructure, not just within repairs and maintenance but also in other areas across the business".
