Testimonials

"We pursued a rigorous procurement exercise and chose Consilium's as the system best suited to provide a user friendly solution, and that would have the capability and flexibility to grow with the council's continuing improvement plans. We believe we have chosen the right product from the right company."

Philip Morgan, Warwick District Council.

Alerts Workshop Review

Alerts Workshop Review...

Consilium's Alerts is an automated tool to notify you when critical events happen on your Consilium database - whether it's an emergency job recieved, a requisition that needs authorising or a stock item that is running low.

Now your people can attend an Alerts Workshop Review and can work with experienced consultants to review your alerting needs.

Our consultants advise and guide your staff through the process.  We'll agree an agenda and clear objectives at the beginning, and alerts will be created throughout the workshop. You'll have:
 - An agreed structure and agenda
 - Clear objectives agreed at the start
and you'll gain
 - The skills to create your own alerts

The key points that we cover are:

Review of the tables in the database.  This allows your key staff to understand more clearly where and how your data is held.

Creating connections to databases and extracting information (ODBC query)

Formatting the information into HTML.  This includes exporting data into frontpage/dreamweaver and re-importing it. (This means you can add creative graphics to your alert emails)

Emailing the alerts.  This includes using dynamic email addresses.

Linking alerts to crystal reports.  This includes passing through changing parameters from an ODBC query to a parameterised crystal report.
